When I was younger, I loved to play soccer! I eventually got so good at it, I got invited for a scouting camp of a pro team for young talents. I had just entered the room that I was staying in for the whole week when there was a knock on my door.

When I opened it, there stood the head coach of the camp! He gave me a videotape with footage of the best players in the world with explanation of their tactics and what makes them the great players they are.

Before he left, he asked me for my wallet. When I gave it to him, he opened it, took all of my money out, and handed me back an empty wallet. I was really confused but he told me, 'If I gave you the videotape for free, you'd never watch it. But because you've paid for it now, you made an investment. Now I know for sure you're going to watch it and learn from it' And he was dead right!

I watched the whole thing and became a much better player! That's the day I learned the power of investment! He later told me they do this with every single player because they knew from earlier scouting camps that nodoby would watch it and become a better player otherwise.
